Last year was a lot of fun watching all the exciting new ventures launch in the Social Networking space. I thoroughly enjoyed creating the directory here at Social.com to share some of the interesting places that I learned about.

It's time to move forward now. I'm in the process of developing a business plan for an exciting new direction for Social.com. It has nothing to do with what you currently see here at this site.

I'm looking for a Co-founder in the Greater Boston area that can help me plan, build and seek funding for a new startup.

The candidate must be a star programmer adept with Perl and Javascript.

Bonus points for experience with any of the following: Catalyst, Prototype, Scriptaculous, Apache, mod_perl, MySQL, Amazon Web Services, OpenSocial.

You are getting close to ideal if you also:

• Started your own company before or been part of a Web 2.0 startup.
• Were successful in raising a seed or later round.
• Led a development team or had other management experience.
